Privacy Policy

DigiworksCO LTD operates Crewline, a platform that helps home service businesses follow up with their customers by text message. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Crewline is operated by DigiworksCO LTD, registered in United Kingdom under company number 12963877, at Flat 67, 108 Westbourne Terrace, London, W2 6QJ, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, contact rolphy@teamdigiworks.com.
Two kinds of people, two different roles
This distinction matters, because our responsibilities differ for each.
- Our customers are the home service businesses who sign up. We are the data controller for their account details.
- Their customers are the people who receive the text messages. Here the business is the data controller and we act on their instructions as a processor. We never use their contact lists for our own purposes and never sell data.
What we handle
- Account details for the businesses who use the platform: name, email, company name, and business details needed to obtain a text number.
- Contact records synced from the business's own CRM: names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses and job history.
- Text messages sent and received through the platform, including photos and voice notes a recipient chooses to send.
- Content read from the business's public website, used to build their Company Brain.
- Technical logs, including message delivery status and errors.
Why we handle it
To provide the service: to send follow up messages on the business’s behalf, to understand replies, and to report results back to them. We do not use this data to train our own models, and we do not sell or share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
These are the only third parties involved in delivering the service.
- Twilio delivers and receives the text messages. Message content and phone numbers pass through them.
- OpenAI processes message content and website content so the platform can understand replies and write responses. Their API does not use this data for training.
- Housecall Pro, or whichever CRM the business connects, is the source of the contact and job data. We read from it. We never write to it.
- Our hosting provider, on servers we control.
Text messages and consent
We only message people whose record in the business’s CRM permits contact. Anyone marked as do not contact is never messaged, and a record with no consent setting is treated as opted out rather than opted in.
Replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT stops all messages to that number immediately. Replying START, UNSTOP, YES resumes them.
How long we keep it
Account and message data is kept while the business has an active account. When an account is closed, its data is deleted along with it. A business can ask us to delete specific contact records at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. If you received a text message and want your details removed, contact the business that arranged the work, or write to us at rolphy@teamdigiworks.com and we will pass it on and stop messaging you in the meantime.
Security
Credentials for connected accounts are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Access to customer data is restricted to the workspace it belongs to, and enforced on every request rather than in the interface alone.
